I managed 248 home games in the decade. Checking back to Leo’s Stats, (which have been an essential element of my research) I find that there were 257 home games over the period. (I don’t include the League Cup debacle against Sheffield Wednesday. A ‘home’ game it might have been nominally, but was played at Maine Road and therefore features as Away Day 40). Whatever the rights and wrongs of including it or not, missing only 9 games shows that by this time County was clearly in the blood.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
