Blundell Park from the air – hemmed in by rows of terraces, with the sea behind the Main Stand

The Main Stand at Blundell Park – the smallest on the ground, but a truly venerable edifice, parts of which date back to 1901.

The Findus Stand, (since renamed), was built in 1982, and the naming paid tribute to one of the major local employers who paid nearly half of the £425k cost.

The Pontoon Stand – certainly bedecked in the Mariners colours, but to me akin to a chess board
