Reflections on Goodison Park to be published in due course
..
Goodison Park – Main Stand. A huge edifice with three tiers, and I suspect, although never having been in there, the top tier is not for those who suffer from vertigo!
..
The Gwladys Street End – for the home fans. On an earlier, non-County visit, the lower tier terracing produced a lively atmosphere. The conversion to seating hasn’t improved on things.
..
The Bullens Road Stand. In the FA Cup game County fans were at the far end. Jeff and I had an excellent view from the upper tier
..
The Park End – a new construction from my earlier, non-County, visit. It’s predecessor was a two tier affair, claustrophobic but generating a great atmosphere.
